The pedagogic method at Dar Basile combines practical and theoretical learning. Students will spend 70% of their time working in a company, and the remaining 30% will be classroom learning.

Class schedule will be as follows:

- Thursday: 5 pm-8.15pm

      * Class 1: 5 pm-6.30 pm.

      * Class 2: 6.45 pm-8.15 pm.

- Saturday (or Wednesday if seminar is Saturday): 5pm-8.15 pm

      * Class 1: 5 pm-6.30 pm.

      * Class 2: 6.45 pm-8.15 pm.

- Seminars with Syrian or Foreign Manager or Business Owners (1 Saturday/month).

- Open Workshops Technology, Foreign Language (1 day/week).

 

1st semester (September-December):

- Marketing.

- Economic Studies.

- English for Business.

- Accounting.

- Creating Value through Operations and Technology (one).

- Technical Communication.

- Annual Project.

 

2nd semester (January-June):

- Executive Communication.

- Creating Value through Operations and Technology (two).

- Finance Management.

- Banking.

- Management Organization and People.

- Insurance.

- Quality Management.

- Business Law.

- Business French (optional).

- Annual project.

 

Annual project:

- Project Specific to each student and company.

- Subject choice will be made by the student in collaboration with his Company and Dar Basile.

- Dar Basile teachers and subject experts will provide the needed mentoring and tutoring for each student.

- Project will be presented at the end of the academic year (June).

 

Marketing:  Builds an in-depth understanding of basic marketing concepts and applies those concepts to a variety of management situations.

The course provides working knowledge of the tools of marketing (pricing, distribution, promotion, consumer behavior), and the ways in which these tools can be usefully employed.

The course also builds practical skills in analyzing marketing problems and opportunities and in developing marketing programs.
